What is Halle doing lately? Well, up until two days ago she was sleeping on her tummy and LOVING it! I know she's not supposed to, but...this seemed to work best for her and she slept REALLY well. We didn't want to mess up a good thing. But....lately, she doesn't like to be on her tummy she wants to roll over as soon as we lay her down...did I mention she's strong willed? We do think this is a good thing, this way she won't let others push her around...her Mommy is strong willed. So, we know what we're up against, or...should I say Daddy knows?? She is eating cereal mixed with fruit, peaches or pears...she likes all things orange. Strange?? She eats sweet potatoes & squash, but...let me tell you...peas were not a favorite. The look on her face was priceless! I tried them twice and got the same reaction. We'll try again in a few months!! She has been teething for at least two months, but...no teeth...just lots of drooling and wanting to chomp on everything!! So bibs are daily part of our outfit...check out these. My friend Becky and her Mom make these!! Aren't the cute?? We also wear a lot of these that my friend Amy has made and we have a diaper/wipes bag from her too...so fun and handy!! She is cooing and smiling up a storm, she rolls from her tummy to back and is so close to rolling from back to tummy!! We're working on that. We just started Halle in her Johnny Jumper last week and she just realized yesterday what happens when she really jumps! It's so fun to see her do that! Aaron and I gather around her like we've never seen a baby do that before....you know us first time parents! She is still a peanut, but...starting to fill out some. Long and lean is what she is. Halle loves her blankies (especially one from her foster family, thanks Mary Lynne & Robbie) and lovey's. She cuddles right up to them for nap and night time. She continues to amaze us everyday and we are so blessed to call her our daughter. Thank you Jesus for this precious gift!!
